Live, Work and Play in Las Vegas

So many of us find ourselves in a lifestyle of work, work, work, with anticipation of vacationing 2 weeks a year at a favorite location.

Why settle for two weeks of the year when you can combine living, working, and playing year round in fabulous Las Vegas?

Las Vegas is no longer just fun for adults. You can fill your family's days with interesting activities such as:

Adventuredome - located behind Circus Circus. A 5 acre glass encasement indoor theme park, complete with roller coaster and a simulated Grand Canyon. Plenty of thrilling rides for kids of all ages, video games, and arcades, entertainment by magicians and jugglers to keep the kids happy.

Red Rock Canyon - 1/2 hour west of the Strip. Have a picnic, climb the rocks, go hiking, take some pix while enjoying the breathtaking scenery. An easy drive will get you temporarily away from the hustle and bustle of the Strip.

Lake Mead - largest man-made lake located approximately 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas. Boating, fishing, swimming, water skiing, hiking and biking. Great climate for relaxing in the sun, getting in touch with nature at its best.

A visit to FAO Schwartz on Las Vegas Boulevard. Great fun for all ages, customers rave about the ice cream and friendly service, as well as all the great shopping.

A visit to the Grand Canyon - approximately 275 miles from Las Vegas, but well worth the trip. Awesome scenery -- don't miss this extraordinary experience while you're in the area. Helicopter tours make this even more convenient from the Las Vegas area.

Interested in educational activities for the kids? Try the Las Vegas Natural History Museum, located across the street from the Lied Discovery Children's Museum, an interactive science museum for young children located on the Las Vegas Boulevard.

This brief list just scratches the surface of amazing things to do while in Las Vegas house hunting with the family. When you make Las Vegas your permanent home, you'll spend endless hours finding interesting, fun, and educational activities to make your family's life more complete.
